Most successful people know that crushing goals doesn’t happen overnight. More often than not, there is a detailed plan set in action to overcome obstacles and reach the desired end goal. By creating a strategic plan with a defined beginning, middle, and end—the timeline for success is set into place.
Start each week with a Plan
Each Sunday, think of your weekly goals and tasks you’d like to accomplish. Think logically about what each day will entail and plan around your work schedule.
Take the time to figure out your eating plan and choose meals for each day of the week. If you aren’t sure what to eat each day, think about incorporating whole foods into every part of your diet. Ensuring that you are eating organic, whole foods is a great start when figuring out what to add to the menu.
After deciding your meals, block out time for workouts. If you use a planner or a digital calendar to keep track of your week, make an appointment for each time you will dedicate to a workout. Setting this as a blocked off appointment will dissuade you from canceling or changing plans last minute. You can even record the details of your workout and what you will focus on in the same appointment!
Monday Motivation is Key
Be ready for the first day of your plan. If all else fails, make sure you have your Monday plan outlined then build off of that success when planning the rest of the week.
It can be overwhelming to schedule it all out in advance, so start slow, see how powerful you can be, and grow from there! Productivity can be achieved through a positive mindset, prior planning, and focus.
