Have you ever gone up a few flight of stairs and found yourself totally winded? I think it’s at this moment that a lot of us come to the realization that we have let ourselves get terribly out of shape. Instead of feeling ashamed, make a commitment to yourself that you will never let it happen again. Beyond just wanting to improve your cardiovascular fitness so you’re not embarrassed, why not really get your health in order so you can enjoy a long and happy life?
Remember, your body will do whatever you train it to do. You are the one making that decision and you are the one in control. Life will always be busy, there will always be too little time and others will constantly need your attention. Waiting for that miraculous day when the time is right is never going to arrive. YOU have to make that day happen. How bad do you want it? Really think about that for a moment. If you want something bad enough, you will do whatever it takes to get it. So why not start with some cardiovascular fitness to get moving in the right direction? No matter what your situation is, everyone can start walking or doing a similar activity even in their own home. So here’s to a healthy heart, let’s get going!
