Did you know that 1 out of 50 men and women can expect to get skin cancer sometime in their life? That’s so crazy but also try to remember that there are things we can do to minimize that. You know I’m always going to go the healthiest route, so here’s a quick list of foods that have been found to be natural sunscreens. Eat up!

  1. Blueberries
  2. Apricots
  3. Dark chocolate (try adding cocoa nibs to shakes and smoothies like this recipe)
  4. Tomatoes that are stewed (cooking tomatoes releases more of the lycopene)
  5. Oranges
  6. Carrots
  7. Watermelon
  8. Orange and yellow peppers
  9. Spinach
  10. Fish
